A day of London life – Anahita’s photo blog
What’s studying in London really like? Anahita, from India, studied at INTO London World Education Centre – here’s her photo blog on life in the UK capital…
Morning
Anahita wakes up at 8am and starts her day with cereal and coffee. Her room is upstairs in the centre, so she packs her bags and heads downstairs to meet her friends before class.
If she’s not in the mood for cereal, Anahita grabs a croissant at ‘The Kitchen’ to keep her going. The cafe is just downstairs, so she can pop in on her way to the study rooms.
Lessons begin at 9.15am – time to concentrate!
Afternoon
At lunchtime, Anahita and her friends prepare food in her room, or head out to a nearby restaurant. London is full of diverse cultures, so there are a lot of different cuisines to choose from.
And before the afternoon study session, there’s just enough time to crush her opponents on the foosball table!
Afternoon lessons, and today it’s Anahita’s turn to deliver a presentation to the class.
Evening
After a quick coffee, Anahita settles into a bit of further study – she likes to make sure her coursework is in order before relaxing with friends.
Once that’s done, it’s time to socialise – whether with dinner, some TV in the common room, or a game of ping pong. Everyone likes exploring London together, and they often go for walks in the park or along Regent’s Canal, or sample local restaurants.
Staying in touch with family is also important – Anahita is a big fan of Skype!
One last look at her course notes, and it’s finally time for bed…
Thanks Anahita for showing us a day in the life of International Foundation in Business, Management and Law, along with your amazing friends and some great London snapshots!
